since it is our anniversary today, my fabulous Husband had these beautiful flowers delivered!! He knows my favourite flower is the lily :-)
Me and Shirin went on a cafe excursion today :-) wanted to find and compare the Nordic Bakery
on the Golden Square in Soho to the Scandinavian Kitchen on Great Titchfield Street and
and we both agree that Scandinavian kitchen wins by a mile!! Better cakes and much better customer service. Nordic Bakery has better coffee but the cake was dry it crumbled just looking at it!! Nice to have been to both but I prefer the Scandinavian Kitchen :-)
It has been so hot today I felt like I was going to melt or faint! Typical Swedish behaviour ;-) Have enjoyed the weather these few days very much. It is apparently going to rain tomorrow, which I don't mind at all to be honest with you.
Shirin is making us a anniversary dinner tonight which includes home made Panna cotta with cloudberry coulis!!
If it turns out well, I'll take a picture and show you later. I have also been to the dentist who squeezed me in on her lunch hour and gave a 7 days dose of antibiotics for my toothache and hopefully it will sort it out. Told me to eat them for three days and then stop but to keep the rest of the tablets and if it flares up on holiday to eat the rest and call her when I get back...
