We have had a lovely weekend, spending some quality time together just Husband and I and a few select friends :-) On Saturday, Husband and I went to Canary Wharf and Carluccio's for breakfast and then home to watch Formula 1 qualifying. In the evening we were invited to Husband's mum, She was having a party in her flat on the river in Putney. I decided to wear my newest vintage dress and spice it up a little with some accessories.
Dress: Beyond Retro, brooch: Karl Lagerfeld for Atelier Swarovski, headband: Primark and shoes: River Island

Husband and I enjoying the view and the warm spring evening

Amazing view from Mother in Law's balcony.
Sunday morning was spent in bed until midday when we had to get tready for lunch. I had booked a Swedish restaurant in Brick Lane (London's East End) for 1.30pm.

The dress is by Beyond Retro, shoes: Dorothy Perkins, bag is by Chanel

It took us a long time to find parking and the to find restaurant and by then we were starving. Sat down, ordered the food and then waited for a long time to get the food, which was homemade meatballs and they were a big disappointment. Husband I think said, the meatballs in IKEA are better! They just didnt have any flavour, how can you mess meatballs up, they are the easiest thing to make :-) Anyway, after lunch we had coffee in Notting Hill at Le Pain Quotidien, with Richard and a little bit of gossip :-) As we had spent most of the time in traffic, we were a little tired and went home after the coffee and tart and spent the rest of the evening chilling at home.
This morning, I went to Westfield's in Shepherd's Bush to have a Starbucks with Karen and Little J. I wore a dress and shoes by Primark, cardigan by H&M and parrot necklace by New Look

after Starbucks and a visit to the loo :-) we went for a walk and I found these little beauties: a hotpink boobtube and black heels from New Look

Hand soap and lotion and body lotion and oil from Boots

And reading material for the one hour long tube journey home...

It has been a very good few days but I am now really tired, might have a nap before it is time to cook tonight's dinner, roast chicken and salad. Also need to put the laundry away. Tomorrow, I have to tidy the house and cook a three course dinner for the dinner party we are having tomorrow. Have a fabulous evening.
