We have now been discharged and are at home trying to settle into this new life of ours :-) Giving birth was tough, the most painful and most difficult thing I have ever had to do and am not keen to do again! The contractions started on Monday morning at 5.55am and baby was born at 23.36pm same day. Not going into details, but I think it was a tough, but apparently normal delivery. I am very sore at the moment and popping painkillers every four hours.  I'm not going to upload pictures of the baby on the blog. It's something Husband and I have agreed on together.

I am perfectly happy to show you these three pictures though. First one is me having a contraction and only using Gas n Air for pain relief

Baby has had her first bath (she hated it) but here she is cuddling with daddy :-)

Flowers and a balloon arrived today. My mum is here and Husband's sister and kids are on their way to come see us :-)

Feeling remarkably well for not sleeping much since Sunday night. Will try to keep the blog updated, but as I'm sure you understand I have a different life now and different priorities. Will show you the Miu Miu gift Husband got me for giving birth a bit later...
