Husband's birthday present

As I have said before, it's Husband's birthday of Friday :-D and I usually find it difficult to buy him a worth birthday gift as he buy whatever he likes/wants/needs throughout the year and he says he doesnt' really care about his  birthday, but I know he secretly does. So when I have run out of ideas I usually end up at this tailor in Soho called Nino's on Brewer Street. It is the only place in London (that I have found so far, after 11 years) that make ready to wear shirts that actually fits my husband. They don't come cheap but what can you do when your husband is 6'6 (197cm tall) and has wide shoulders?
This year I decided that he need a vibrant, stand out, fabulous coloured shirt and this is what the fabric looks like up close. I know it is difficult to see what it looks like but will take a picture of the shirt when my husband is wearing and post in the blog. I am also going to buy a little cake on Thursday and serve it to him in bed on Friday morning. In the evening we have 8 friiends and family coming around for dinner, cake and a game or two of Articulate (I usually call it Pronounciate, as I can never remember what it is called :-p) So dinner, drinks and games with friends and family, doesn't sound too shabby does it? :-)
After the cupcake and shirt shopping I was ready for a break, found a Caffe Nero and called my mum, with whom I spoke to for over half an hour :-) My mum is coming here on the 26th of October for almost two weeks. Also read a little bit of Glamour magazine
The windows of Cox cookies and cake...
