I have to say that November hasn't been kind to us. Astrid and I have been ill on and off all month. It's difficult when kids this young are ill as you don't know what exactly is wrong. It's a guessing game and she has been on antibiotics twice this month. Looks like she is a lot better today and she did go to nursery yesterday which I think helped her a lot :-)xoxomissing

Last night was our monthly date night and we had cocktails and dinner at Burger&Lobster on Dean Street in Soho. I had a lobster roll and Husband had the burger, it was DELICIOUS! We will definitely go back and if you are in London you too need to go there :-)
After dinner we were so full we needed a walk to get rid of the fullness in our bellies, also the cocktails made us a tiny bit tipsy and iceskating tipsy didnt seem like a good idea :-P So we walked from the restaurant to Covent Garden

And to our desination, Somerset House
It's the third time wee have been there. First time we took our niece and nephew there and the other two times we've been there on dates. We never stay on the ice that long as the rink is quiet small and all you do is go round and round and try to stay away from the other equally insecure skaters so you wont fall, but it is a lot of fun adn very romantic :-)
Considering neither of us has skated in two years and that we weren't any good at to start with, we did alright and neither of us fell. So skating a little bit tipsy turns out to be the way to do it ;-P
London is so pretty at the moment with all the Christmas decorations. Shirin and I are walking around next week, looking at the decorations and maybe we will do some Christmas shopping as well as I havent even started yet!

Had some Baileys when I was desperate for some chocolate and we didn't haev any at home.
Cuddles with Dodger. Poor cat doesn't get much love from me anymore. I'm getting better, but have felt emotionally drained for this past year, haveing to satisfy everyones needs isn't an easy job :-D
Took a walk in the park after taking Astrid to the doctors. She has an inflamed throat, is coughing and her right eardrum is a little bit red, hence the no sleeping.

Baked a kladdkaka, aka gooey cake...

Now, I don't mean to scare you but this what the real world looks like, ie I, when you have a baby who is ill and haven't slept properly for two nights.
The naked truth, no make up and no editing :-P It's a proper before picture and idf we go out today I will show you the magic wonders of make up and what it can do to ones face and why I very rarely go outside without it. Not because I think that I can't go out with out my "face" on but because it makes me feel better and makes me feel that little bit more confident so why no, eh? Hope you are all sleeping alot better (just waiting for Husband to wake up so I can have a nap). Astrid and I were supposed to go to the Christmas fair in Wanstead, but it looks like we will skip that in favour for napping. It is dull and grey out there and it's raining...
