My perfect end to the weekend
After my driving lesson, I got home and was a bit bored so I decided t go to Oxford street for some retail therapy (again) Went to New Look and River Island but neither had what I was looking for. So I went to Primark and bought a dress, a t-shirt and lots of accessories (which I will show you later). Also stopped by Swarovski to say hello to my friend Leila and the rest of the team.
Got home, changed to something more comfy and made dinner. Now watching Sex and the City
planning to read the ladies: Elle and Vogue US

as well as paint my nails

Perfect girlie evening :-)
xoxo
Friday's shopping
Whilst Husband was sorting out of drive, planting new mini trees, I went to Knightsbridge to have a Starbucks lunch with my stepbrother. After the tour of the new beauty department, I went to H&M for some retail therapy and actually tried things on! I usually just buy the items I like and try them on at home and they almost always fit me ;-) But now that I am slightly bigger ;-) I need to try things on. I haven't bought much maternity wear, as they are still so ugly, I just buy items in bigger sizes and make it work. Whoever thoght that fashion-concious women would stop caring when they got pregnant, is losing out bigtime! I believe there is big money to be made, but what do I know? ;-)
Anyway, this is what I bought:
Hot pink blouse with a exposed zip at the back

Plain white shirt with lace on the shoulders and in the neck

A thinly knitted jumoer perfect for early autumn

I also took the 137 bus from Sloane street to Oxford street adn popped into Marks&Spencers for this slip I saw on their website months ago. Will look perfect under that cobalt blue dress I almost wore the other day but had nothing to wear underneath it

And the new L'oreal eyeshadow that is suposed to be waterproof. Still need to try it, just need an event for it :-)

Tomorrow I am going shopping again, this time with my 6-year old niece. I am picking her up at 10.30 and then we are going to the BIG Primark on Oxford Street and then to Claire's accessories and then I think I'll take her to Pizza Express for lunch, sounds like a good, girlie date right? I need some plian black and white t-shirts so I think I'll go the men's department in Primark. Shirin went to the ladies last week and looked for round neck t-shirts for me, but they were sold out.
Hope you have a great Sunday :-D
xoxo
Vintage x2
Went to Kent last night to have three course dinner at sister in law's. Met Husband at the station as he was in west London helping friends to install their new kitchen. We had a really good time, I was tired as usual, but I think the painting of the little room killed me :-S
I decided to dress up properly though to forget about the tiredness.

Husband is heloing out with the kichen today as well and Shirin has moved to her own flat now so the house is empty apart from Dodger (who spends his days sleeping on a very comfortable blanket) and I.
Next post, which will be up as soon as I have finished with ths one, will feature last Friday's shopping..

going to dinner, will show the outfit later

xoxoBeauty and Christmas
Harrods new beauty department look like this, all glossy, sleek and shiny

And this is Selfridge's new Christmas shop which opened this week

I wasn't impressed at first but then I saw this cute little bauble which I might have to get :-) it's £9.95

have been to the local private hospital where we had a 3D scan of the baby who was smiling or having gas throughout the scan, very cute. Then we went to dinner at a pub in Wanstead called The Cuckfield

We had good food but ended up next to the loudest table ever. Next time we will go on a non-Friday :-)
I did some shopping today as well but will show you tomorrow
xoxo

Last night...
Yesterday was A's birthday, not telling you the number, he will hate me forever :-) so we went to Lamb Tavern in Leadenhall Market
Leadenhall market is such a beautiful place! There are pubs, restaurants and shops there and it's in the heart of the City of London

High street wish list
Here are a few things I am loving at the moment (might be more than a few hahaha) It is my birthday in September and I always celebrate it like a child with parties and afternoon teas and dinner with Husband. Starting from the top:

They are all accessorise for obvious reasons as not a lot on the high street fits me at the moment. Which one is your favourite?
All pictures are from the individual company's websites and if you click on their names they are all linked :-)
xoxo
Close up
Looking back at the previous post I realised that you can't really see what I have done with my hair today, so here is a close up :-)

xoxo
Pink

Dress and sandals: Primark

Nails: Riviera by Chanel

Rings in order: Tiffany&co, Links of London x2

Bracelets and charm: Links of London

earrings: Mikey

I was looking through some of my posts and outfits from last year and realised I have lost my spark a little so decided to dress up today (even if I am only going to Coop to buy dinner) and instantly I felt better, brighter somehow :-)
xoxo
Collars
These seperate collars are all from Asos and start at £10. I think they are all fabulous and I want them all now :-) They will look so good with a plain t-shirt. I now have to go out and buy some plain T's.

I made some last year that I only wore occassionally.

I never wore the first one and only wore the second one once. Just need to get some t-shirts and I'll be wearing them this autumn. I like the collar trend... All pictures (except the last two) are from Asos website
xoxo
Colours
We went to B&Q last night and bought these two colours for the little room where the baby will sleep. We know the sex but want to keep the room as neutral as possible.

Going to add these photos as well, once I have ordered them in a canvas print

We think it will look really nice. Don't want to clutter the room up as it is very small and we have to fit the furniture in there as well...
xoxo
Shelves
The shelves as they have been looking for the last 2 and a half years. Messy and unpresentable
After: alot tidier and more presentable

Only problem: I now have 6 rubbish bags full of books that I need to get to a charity shop. Hopefully Husband can help me one of these days :-)
spent a few hours with the pregnant ladies and then took the tube to Wanstead and had a coffee and a panini in Starbucks. Grazia kept me company...
xoxo
The bump and I

Blazer, trousers and brooch: H&M, shoes: Converse, t-shirt: New Look (was a gift), bag: Louis Vuitton, scarf (on bag): Beyond Retro Vintage
I am off to see the other mama's to be in South Woodford for a group date :-)
I spent all day at home yesterday sorting out our bookshelves in the livingroom. Took before and after pictures which I will upload later, look good now :-)
xoxo
Valentino in pictures
Husband bought me this coffee table book when we went to the fashion museum in Bath in January. I haven't even opened it until now and just wanted to show you some of the amamzing pictures inside the book

xoxo
Today's outfit
I changed my mind when it came to the cobalt blue dress. It is very sheer and I don't have the right undergarments for it. I need to go on a trip to Marks&Spencers :-)
We were invited to a BBQ in the countryside in Kent and after that we went to Husbands sister+family for a drink and dinner in the garden. It was a good day, I am just still so very tired. Husband is watch Formula 1 and we are going to bed afterwards.
Dress: Vintage by Beyond Retro, brooch: Vintage Dior 1966, bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs, heels: Next, rings: Links of London and Tiffany&co, bracelets: Links of London, watch: Michael Kors, earrings: Mikey

The T-shirt is was a nice surprise from sister-in-law+family :-) and the eggs were made by my 6 year old niece, sweet huh?
Going to wear the t-shirt tomorrow if I decide on going anywhere...
xoxo
Bad night's sleep
I have been awake on and off since 2.30 this morning :-( Have had a really bad back ache, it is better now that I am sitting down but I can still feel it. Might be dehydrated or there might be something else, anyhow, I am dead tired and not in a very good mood :-S Maybe I'll have a shower and breakfast and I might feel better?
Yesterday we spent all day in John Lewis getting the gift list ready for the birthday/baby party we are having in September. After all that "shopping" and some actual shopping this little baby mama to be was exhausted. We did have a good nap when we got home.
Today we are going to Kent to see some friends and family so I hope the weather stays nice as I have a new and very cobalt blue outfit to wear :-) Didn't take any pictures of yesterday's outfit but I can show you what dress I wore anyway as I have worn it before

Just wore it with different shoes and bag
Do you like the new background on the blog? I thought it was time for a change and I always liked this Mr. Anderson theme on blogg.se
Making porridge now
xoxo
Charmingly sweet
This is what Shirin came home with last night :-) Isn't she a sweetie :-)

I thought it would get lost on my other Sweetie bracelet,

so stole a split ring from the other one and added it to the Rose Quartz one and I think it looks really cute :-D
The milkman has delivered eggs, a bottle of OJ and 4 bottles of milk, now just waiting for Husband to wake up so I can make him breakfast ;-)
We are going to John Lewis today to start the gift list for the party in September, exciting stuff :-)
xoxo
Today's shopping
I got up fairly early today, at 8.45. Got ready and made breakfast, porridge, for me and Shirin. Then joined her on the tube to work as I was going shopping :-) also had a few errands to run. The following pictures are not in the order I got them. I first went to Marc by Marc Jacobs and got a new "bag", then went to Primark where I got three new flat sandals and a pair of patent brogues. Off to La Senza where I got four sets of nice looking lingerie in the sale. Went to Selfridge's for the loo and reading material. Handed in a few charms to be soldered on to a bracelet at New Cavendish Jewellers on Marylebone High Street and the necklace Shirin got me last year for my birthday as the unicorn pendant needed soldering as well. Then my final two stops were Links of London to say hello to a former colleague of mine, and I happen to buy this Love Note ring, and then to Canteen to give Shirin her card back. She has now paid the very last rent (late) and is moving out on the 31st of July

The bag is a laptop case which I will use as a oversized clutch bag. It's £65, there is also a rubber Ipad case which I think would work just as well for £35, but I preferred the look of this purple one. It has a deep amethyst purple shade to it and Purple is one of my favourite colours...

Having dinner with my sister in law tonight and the weekend is being spent with Husband, yeay!!!!!!
xoxo
Two days, four outfits

Guess where I am?

What have I bought?
will show you whenShopping in Stockholm
Now that I am home with a fast internet I can show you what I bought when I was in Stockholm.
This skirt, I remember that I have seen it somewhere but I can't remember where, is from H&M and current collection.

The next three dresses are also H&M but all in the sale. They do all fit now (not for long) but will also fit after baby is born ;-)

The following two dresses are vintage and bought in Beyond Retro. The first I will wear at my birthday/baby party in September. It is too big now so hopefully will be perfect then. The second one, which is my favourite, fits me perfect now so I have to find an occcassion to wear it to soon :-)

The final one is also by H&M, current season and full price. I know i is very sheer I just need to buy a few slips in M&S next week and I am good to go :-) I am loving the pleat0trend right now and for autumn it will look very chic with tights and some high heeled loafers.

Also did my nails quickly. As they are longer than usual I am wearing neutral colours. I don't like trendy colours on long nails.

Going to eat some boiled eggs and read my Kindle before Husband comes home and I have to make dinner (lasagne is on the menu for tonight)
xoxo
Back home, finally :-)
Hello :-)
I am finally back home!! Feels like I have been away for ages!
Last night I arrived at home at 22.30 by taxi from the airport. I was competely knackered, I was so uncomfortable on the plane. The bump has grown in the last week and the baby is moving around like crazy, which obviously is a very good sign, but it does get uncomfortable at times.
This little bottle was waiting for me when I got home. I signed up for a Vogue subscription the week before I went to Stockholm and this was the present I got. I am going to try it and see if it is any good...
I decided this morning that it is time to swap bags for a while. So I got my Louis Vuitton Epi Speedy bag out of retirement and added the scarf I bought in Beyond Retro in Stockholm. Gives it a whole new look dont you think?

Today's look is very casual. I have no plans apart form a driving lesson, laundry and going to the store for tonights dinner (might sneek into Starbucks)
Cardigan: very old Warehouse, top: Primark, Dress worn as skirt: Zara

No make up and only a few glam accessorise, like my Swarovski ring and Michael Kors watch.
Grazia was waiting for me as well when I got home and I have just now looked through it, there are some good bags in this issue that I wouldn't mind adding to my collection...

Going to the loo and then the lesson starts :-)
xoxo
Travels this year...
Stockholm in July
Borås in June

Ascot in June

Devon for a wedding in June

Madrid in May

Paris in May for our wedding anniversary

Paris in April

Mexico in March

Courmayeur in February

Stockholm in January

Bath in January

We have had a very busy year so far and I am looking forward to staying home for the rest of the year. I am TIRED!! :-) It's been fun though...
Today is my last day in Stockholm. My flight is at 8.30pm and I am taking the airport coach at around 5.30 (it takes 80 minutes to get to the airport) Going to squeeze in a coffee with my mum before that...
See you back in London
xoxo
Dresses

I am loving these dresses from ASOS and in true ASOS style they are not expensive at all, all around £45 each...
xoxo
Stockholm day 6
has been quiet uneventful. I stayed in my nightgown until 12.30 and was reading a book on my Kindle. Then got ready to go to Kista shoppingcentre to have a coffee and a chat with Hellen. My mum arrived at 4.45 (Hellen started work at 4pm) We had a walk around, went for another coffee (I had tea, am only allowed to cups of coffee a day) and then we went home again. The weather is not very nice. The rain is so uninspiring and all I want to do is go back home to London :-) I have also realised that I might have to give up trousers for the next few months. I can still get them on but the waistband digs into my stomacha dn it is uncomfortable most of the times, even the maternity jeans are starting to become uncomfortable. It's lucky I like to wear dresses :-)
xoxo
Stockholm day 5
After we had breakfast and Nicklas+family left, my mum and I took the tube to town and a coffee in a place called Muggen (The mug) Also went to H&M and bought three new dresses in the sale. I'll show you what I bought when I get back home to London...
Today I am wearing a Vintage dress from Beyond Retro, earrings and sandals from Topshop and Ray Ban Shades from 1995...

We were only for a short while as we were both a little bit tired. Am going to spend the evening at my mums doing nothing :-)
xoxo
Stockholm day 4
Also known as my dad's birthday. He turned 58 on Saturday so we celebrated by walking to the nearby lake and once there we had coffee, cake and whiskey. They did, I don't like it and wouldn't drink it even if I wasn't pregnant...

Say hello to the new addition to the family Bozzo the puppy :-) Who is very cute and fluffy but also very lively and loves to lick, drool and nibble on everything!!

Summers first swim I believe and it was so much fun he jumped in four more times :-)

The birthday "boy" and the yummiest cake in the world!!

After the walk and visit to the lake, Marie went on a bike ride and was very sweaty when she got back so Marie and my brother jumped in the pool :-) It was cold!!

Time to say goodbye this morning. My brother+family had a 400km drive back home so wanted to get going. Dropped me off at our mum's first and had breakfast...
xoxo
Stockholm day 3
Blazer: H&M as usual, top: Zara bought in the sale the other day, jeans: Maternity jeans from New Look, ballerinas: Office

As I am going to my dads tonight, the plan for today was to go somewhere for a coffee and just sit in the sun. I didn't sleep too well last night, the pouring rain kept me awake so I didn't feel like trekking around town. We went to Drottninggatan and to a cafe called The Muffin Bakery, but beofre that I bought a skirt and a dress in H&M and after the coffee we went to Beyond Retro where I got two dresses and a scarf.

Also went for a little walk to Adolf Fredriks church where the Prime minister is buried. He was murdered in 1986, his name was Olof Palme...

There are a few saying or quotes on the streets of Stockholm and this one means: TO love is to give; give!

Finally we went to Kungsträdgården for an ice cream and a rest in the sun by the fountains

My brother and his family are on their way up to Stockholm, to pick me up and then we are all going to our dad's for the weekend. I am leaving the laptop at my mums so I will see you next time on Sunday evening....
xoxo
Stockholm day 2
The plan for the day was to go to Fotografiska which is a photography museum by the water to see theNorthern Women in Chanel and the to Livrustkammaren (The Royal armoury) to see the Royal vintage exhibition. So we got off in Slussen station to see the Chanel exhibition first
On our way to the museum we saw The World the residence cruise ship.

I took a few sneaky pictures :-S At least I wasn't told off :-D

Then we walked to the Old Town and our usual cafe, called Cafe Nova where we had a pie each, I had blueberry and my mum had rhubarb, so yummy it is always on my Stockholm itinerary ;-)

Walked aorund the Old town to the Royal palace where the Vintage exhibition took place

All very beautiful, but I thought it would be bigger and grander as it was clothes the royals has worn, but maybe my expectations were too high?

Acted like a tourist for a while. We had time to kill before we were supposed to meet Lallå for a serious chat about his life!!

We had a good chat and I hope he realises that it is getting serious now that he has turned 18 :-)
I am now so knackered I think I am going to go to bed. Am already laying on the sofa like a proper couch potatoe!!
xoxo
Today's outfit

Blazer: H&M, T-shirt: Zara bought yesterday, trousers: Primark, sandals and earrings: Topshop, ring: Swarovski, shades: Vintage Ray Ban's from 1995, scarf: Alexander McQueen
Been out all day and I am now exausted so will update when I have more energy
xoxo
Stockholm
I treated my mum to afternoon tea at the Grand Hotell today. We left home early and went for a walk around town first
Our tea-time was at 3pm but we were early and they seated us 20 minutes before our time, which I thought was very nice of them.

I had a few special requests. I don't usually make a fuss but when you have a little baby inside you, you have other things to think about. So I asked if they could substitute the seafood for turkey for me and they had no problems doing that :-) everything was so yummy and I'll go back there for certain, with Husband me thinks ;-)
I had plans to meet up with a friend of mine at 5pm, so Mum ad I had some time to kill so we went to Skeppsbron, which dates back to 1640, and took some tourist snaps

I love the crown, but was a little disappointed it had lost some of its golden glory. They need to paint it again!!
Then it was time for us to walk to Stureplan, me to see my frined and Mum to go back home. As she was a little late I went window-shopping (had already bought three tops from Zara before the afternoon tea) in Sturegallerian

Our meeting point Svampen (which means the mushroom )

At 5.20, we went to a restaurant with outside seating called Grodan and had a good old chat and made plans to hopefully see each other in November when the baby is born

Grodan was a nice place but the charge extra fro parmesan cheese, 35 kronor (£3.50) which we both thought was a little bit ridiculous.
Walked to Hötorget tube station and took the tube home. Mum met me at the station and we went home to look at old pictures

This is where I am from and where I lived when I met Husband in a chatroom on the Msn called Romance ;-)

That's the one of the old pictures I was talking about, think I am around 3 years old there

I got these three tops in the sale from Zara today, going to wear one of them tomorrow when we are going to two exhibitions. The first one is at the Fotografiska and the exhibition is caled Northen women in Chanel and it's a photo exhibition. THe second one is at Livrustkammaren at the Royal palace, where they are having a vintage clothes exhibition. Really looking forward to both of them

Time to go to bed now as it has been a long day and I am tired!!!
xoxo
Nellie O?

I am pretending that this is what Jackie O might have worn at some point :-) Think I can get away with pretending that? I am taking my mum for afternoon tea and then I'll meet up with a friend of mine for a coffee and a chat before she goes on holiday on Friday...
xoxo
Stockholm i mitt hjärta :-)
I am now in Stockholm :-) My friends picked me up at the busstation last night and we went home to one of them for a few hours and then they drove me home to my mums, where I am now. I am sleeping on a camper bed my dad delivered to my mum so I didn't have to sleep on the floor ;-) It is difficult being a child of a broken home hahahaha
Going to the Grand Hotel, which is the poshest hotel in Stockholm, for afternoon tea with my mum and then I am meeting up with another friend of mine from school. It's not going to be a busy visit, not as busy as they usually are as it is holiday season and everyone is on holiday abroad somewhere or just not home, but it will still be nice. I'll spend some time with my mum who is have a staycation and then the weekend will be spent at my dads, my brother and family are coming up to Stockholm as well.
xoxo
Holly, Karl and Michael
That is Holly Fulton for Atelier Swarovski...
Karl Lagerfeld for Aterlier Swarovski and

Michael Kors

Those are all the accessorise I am wearing today. Enough sparkle would you say? :-)

Cardigan and dress: H&M, jeans: Uniqlo. ballerinas: Office. The taxi will be here in 50 minutes and then I am off to Stansted airport to fly to Stockholm. Will be there for a week so I am hoping on some good weather, not too hot though, I burnt my should in the sun sitting at Beligique yesterday. I did stay there for four hours, had another pregnant lady date and we clicked really well :-)
I haven't decided on the laptop issue yet but I guess you will see what I decide either way during the week...
xoxo
Fly away with me...
I'm off to Stockholm in a few hours, just finishing up with some packing and laundry for Husband who goes to Sarajevo tomorrow. Shirin and Marcin are coming back tonight.
I don't know whether I should bring the laptop or not. I can use the internet at my parents houses but it's not quiet the same and the laptop weighs a lot s well, but if I don't bring it then I know I'll use my BlackBerry and it will cost me a fortune when I get back. What to do, what to do...
xoxo
the bean and the tart
having a coffee and a tart, strawberry at Belgique in Wanstead. sitting in the sun at the moment but i think its getting too hot for me :-S Might move table soon...
xoxo
Husband is home :-)
This is the perfume I got this time :-) He has a tradition, whenever he goes abroad he buys me a perfume, sometime he asks me what I want and sometimes he surprises me...

It smells delicious!! Think I might bring it to Stockholm tomorrow...
xoxo
Hummingbirds and the arts
Had a lovely time in west London with Karen, Joe and the kids. We met up at the Hummingbird Bakery in South Kensington, there was a big queue and nowhere to sit but by the time we had bought our cupcakes a table became free and Joe went back to buy some coffee for the grown ups

I bought Princess Jasmine a special cupcake with glitter and a heart on it :-)

When the kids got bored we went for a walk to The Victoria and Albert museum and the garden with the fountain and Jayden stripped almost naked and jumped in :-) He was even told off by the security guard who told him he had wear at least a shirt which I thought was a bit silly as he is only two years old. Who can he offend?!? Never mind he fell into the water before we could dress him and then got unhappy as his nappy got soaked and heavy and he wanted to take it off :-D

I am now at home, waiting for Husband who is now driving back home from the airport :-D
xoxo
Roses & crystals

Blazer: H&M, top and belt: Primark, skirt: Zara (it's a maxidress but I cut off the straps and made it a skirt), shoes and earrings: Topshop, watch: Michael Kors, bracelets: Swarovski, brooch: Vintage
Hope you all have a great Sunday...
xoxo
Ps: Husband is at the airport!!!!! :-)
No face on
As you can see I only just got up and have had my breakfast.

Husband is coming home this afternoon and we (baby and I) can't wait!!! We get a day and a half with him and the we fly to Stockholm for a week whilst Husband goes to Sarajevo for 6 days to open the new office, so exciting and so busy. This will be our last holidays for some time. We have been inited to Italy for a week in August but haven't booked anything yet. It will be nice to just stay at home for a while and do nothing, migh book the Italy trip last minute if we feel like it :-)
Now going to enjoy my coffee and then slowly get ready to go to Hummingbird Bakery to meet up with Karen and family. I haven't seen my goddaughter JAsmine since we went to Harrods to see Father Christmas!! She could be a grown up by now for all I know :-D

Will upload the outfit pictures just before I go
xoxo
Scones and M&M

dress: Oasis, scarf: alexander McQueen, earrings: Topshop, jelly shoes: Primark

Shirin and I went to Canteen for a snack. I love their scones with clotted cream and jam so sweet and so filling.

Made plans for Shirins friend and where she should take her when she is here

Enjoyed the lovely scones :-)
Then we decided to take the bus to Piccadilly Circus (my silly jelly shoes are so uncomfortable) and visit the new M&M super store on Leicester Square. It is on four floors and definitely worth taking your kids to see, lots and lots of merchendise to buy :-)

Such a poser ;-)

After M&M I was feeling tired and needed a break, so we had a quick drink in Caffe Concerto on Haymarket

Then we took the tube home and now Shirin is looking at some crappy movie and I am falling asleep slowly ;-)

Husband is coming home tomorrow!!!!!! One more sleep :-D
xoxo
Girlie sleep over
Picked the little girl up in London Bridge and then we went home to cook dinner. After dinner we realised that we don't have any icecream at home, so off we went to the petrol station adn bought the very last Ben& Jerry Caramel Chew Chew and found Tom&Jerry on TV, could it get any better?!?

YES it could!!! Ingrid found the walk in and all the shoes!! At around 10pm, when we were supposed to go to bed we were trying on shoes for 45 minutes. Who knew that it could be some much fun to try on heels at the tender age of 6 :-)

One final picture and then off to bed :-) We had a lovely time and will do it again soon, but next time will invilve soem shopping as well ;-) Got to get the girl a few heels of her own, in her size :-) (for special occassions only)
xoxo
Tinkerbell, the snail and the butterfly
Thought I'd rename Todays outfit to something a little bit more interesting...
Top: Primark, leggings: Uniqlo, blazer: Warehouse, shoes: New Look, Tinkerbell necklace: Disney couture, Snail and butterfly ring: Swarovski

Going to pick up my niece for a sleep over, in a few minutes, hopefully the sun will be out until we come back. I got absolutely soaked yesterday!! Tonight we will be pigging out a bit I think, pasta for dinner then ice cream adn sweets and some fruits, all depends on what we find in the shop...
xoxo
Happy Birthday!!!!!!!
Happy birthday to my dear Ann, hope you have a fantasic day!!!!! When are you coming back to this continent? I miss you :-)
xoxo
Reversed Mohawk and Jelly feet

Cardigan: H&M, dress: Beyond Retro Vintage, ballerinas: Office
Breakfast: Porridge, soy latte and apple juice

This is what Dodger looks like at the moment. He obviously had a fight whilst I was out. He felt very needy when I got home so I gave lots of love :-)

And theses are the jelly shoes I got in Primark yesterday, they come in silver as well but I didn't ike them as much as these ones, fun for when I go to Stockhokm next week...

I am off to yet another lady date, I just wish this rain would stop. I usually don't mind a bit of rain but it is like someone turned on the shower. Even with an umbrella (mine happens to be Marc by Marc Jacobs) I'll still get soaked!!!! Wish me luck...
xoxo
Cola and M&M's
After my Lady date, I met up with Shirin in Selfridge's and their pop up Coca-Cola bar for a chat and a drink

Coca-Cola celebrates its 125th birthday this year and have therefore opened the retro looking bar.

The plan was to go to M&M's new mega store on Leicester Square. We walked past the newly reopend Disney store and found Captain Jack Sparrow andI ust had to pose with him, pretending it is the real Johnny Depp. He is looking a bit cross-eyed though

The opening was a red-carpet event and I think the store will open to the public later this week. I'm not a huge fan of the M&M chocolates but I'm sure it is great fun inside for both adults and kids.

We did manage to spot a celebrity though. The lady in the black dress is Alexandra Burke...

After the "gala opening", we took the tube back to Oxford Street and Primark. Shirin was looking for some wedges she'd been thinking of for a few days. I found some £5 jelly glitter shoes and then it was time to go home as I was exhausted. We stopped by M&S to buy some dinner, which Shirin made whilst I was enjoying my orange juice in the livingroom.

It was yummy!! TIme to read some blogs and to relax in front of the tv.

Today's outfit

Blazer and Polo: H&M, trousers: Primark, heels: Fornarina, brooch: Dior, knuckleduster ring: River Island

Now that I have gained a few sizes in babyweight, it is getting a little difficult finding clothes that look good, are comfortable and fit. My trick is to either cut the elastic, like I did with these trousers, or leave the buttons or zipper open and close it with a elastic band throug the button hole and hook it on to the top button, and then cover it with a bump band. The band keeps you looking decent as it looks like you are wearing layers.

Got Marie Claire in the post today. Am meeting Shirin later today, after my lady date, so I need something to read on the tube. Also going to get this weeks Grazia. I signed up to three subscriptions yesterday, Grazia, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, but they won't arrive for a while...

Hobbs A/W11

I really like all the outfits. Hobbs isn't a place I would usually go shopping, but if their collections are going to look like this, I might start. My favourite looks are the first three, I love the pleated skirts and dresses. I have two skirts form Topshop which will work perfectly next season, I just need to figure out how to wear them with the bump :-D

Dinnerdate @ Queens
Since Husband is going on holiday tomorrow, we went out to dinner tonight. Tried a new place in Wanstead called Queens British steak house & grill. I read about it at the hospital when we were waiting for our second scan. It was recommended by the owner of the hairdressing salon I go to. we were pleasantly surprised when wer got there and tried the food. We both had steaks, different cuts of meat, but were equally happy with our orders :-) We will definitely go there again...

Tomorrow, I have another pregnant lady date and then I am going into town to spend some time with Shirin...
Bedtime soon me thinks

Today's outfit

Blazer: H&M, blouse & vest top: Primark, jeans: Topshop, High heeled loafers: Colin Stuart for Victoria's secret

I think my face is getting fatter, hmmmmm....

Brooch: Vintage Dior from 1966

Pendant: was a gift from my mum, but the chain is from Links of London

Watch: Michael Kors

And Dodger's catch of the day! Living with a outdoors cat is not very glamorous at all! I have covered the bird with a bowl whilst I wait for Husband (my hero) to come home from work :-)

xoxo
The plan
I was thinking of taking the tube to Covent Garden and strolling around and eventually having a coffee at the newly opened Laduree, but then I had breakfast, got tired, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and got a delivery from Carphone Warehouse, woke up from a nap by Dodger proudly showing off the little bird he caught and killed and painted my nails and here we are at 4.30 pm. Husband will be home in a few hours and as he is going to Spain for kitesurfing tomorrow we are going out to dinner tonight. So I think the strolling in Covent Garden will have to wait for another time/day. Need to decide on outfit, shower, shave, and get ready for tonights little date.
I thought I had left my Kindle in Mexico or anywhere else we have been in the last few months but as I was tidying up the walk in, there is was looking all sad, laying on the floor with a drained battery. Now all that is missing is my McQueen scarf and I can't for the life of me remember when I last wore or wear I have put it!! Hopefully I'll find it soon, because I really like it...

Primark A/W11
My favourites are the first, the last and the third from the bottom. I'm loving all these jewelcolours, lets hope some of it fits me when it comes out. I might buy some items anyway in hope that I have lost the babyweight before winter is over ;-)

Today's outfit

Butterfly bandeau top: New Look bought yesterday in the sale, chinos: H&M menswear, necklace same as yesterday from Primark, ring: Swarovski, I bought it full price but it is now marked down in the sale

I just had my breakfast, need to eat just a little bit more now, not for two like some women think. Also two cups of coffee a day is ok, but it all depends how you feel as a person. I stick to two, if I want more hten I have decaf or tea...
Going on my pregnant lady date soon, exciting stuff!!!

Girls day out
The afternoon tea at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane was lovely. I think it is my favourite so far :-) The selection of finger sandwiches was really good and the staff ordered some vegetarian sandwiches for me, which I thought was very kind of them...

After stuffing our faces with all their goodness we went for a walk and found Marc by Marc Jacobs, ooops :-s Where I bought two t-shirts for £10 each. Also had to buy some other shoes as the ones I was wearing KILLED my feet!! Bought two tops in the sale in New Look as well. Oxford Street and I are a deadly combination, luckily I didn't go into Primark cos then I wouldn't have been able to afford the tea hahahaha!!! The display window at Selfridge's is really cool and deserves some showing off :-)

In the end these heels were only marginally more comfortable. I now have huge blisters on my big toes! Oh, well, flat shoes for next week then I guess...

Today's outfit
I am off to the Dorchester Hotel for Afternoon tea with my friend Dinesha, who I haven't seen in a very long time. The sun is shining and the sky is blue with a few clouds, perfect :-) Husband is going to the men's final at the Wimbledon...

My entire outfit is high street. Dress: H&M bought in the sale in Sweden, necklace: Primark, heels: Dorothy Perkins, bangle is so old I can't even remember where I got it from. The only expensive thing is my watch which is by Michael Kors, I'll also wear my Chanel bag and Dior shades, but that is a different thing ;-)
Tomorrow I have a date with another pregnant lady :-) Who I "met" on netmums, so we haven't actually met properly yet. I also have another date on Wednesday. I am trying something new here. Almost all our friends have kids and had them a while ago. I thought it would be nice to meet some people who are in the same situation as me and not get on my Husbands nerves :-)

Proper update
Only today do I feel like I am myself again ;-) All this travelling has taken its toll and I have been feeling tired. just woke up from a nice, long nap and I have had lunch so I feel ready to update you. First, today's look: A jumpsuit from Primark, which was one of the things I got yesterday.

It is very comfortable!!! Then, this is all the other things I got in Primark and in Borås. Actually, the bracelet hasn't been purchased anywhere, I made it yesterday when I was feeling a bit restless.

Also, InStyle arrived uesterday and Elle this morning

Now to the shopping :-D

Pussybow blouse £9

Vintage looking, duck egg coloured polyester shrug £10

Pinstriped waistcoat £9

patterned trousers £9 all from Primark
Two dresses from H&M, bought in the sale. Saw some relly nice things in there and could have spent alot more, but am trying to be good and Ryanair's baggage restrictions won't allow for to much shopping

tomorrow, I was supposed to have a date with Husband, but he has been lured away to the Wimbledon Men's final with Mr. B so I am going to have afternoon tea with Dinesha instead at the Dorchester Hotel and this is the dress I intend to wear :-)

the skull tea light holders (I bought two, didn't see the point in photographing both as they look the same) was bought in a interior design shop called Chili and were £8 each. Think they will look really cool in the autumn/winter when they light up. Came in all sorts of colours but clear ones goes best with our house.
This morning, Husband went to the Coop and got fresh croissant, milk, juice and strawberries. I made filter coffee in our new coffee maker and we decided to have our breakfast in the garden. On Thursday I ordered a new watch :-D and it was delivered this morning!!! Yeay!!!

What do you think? I LOVE it!! I think it is very cool :-) I know Hermes were amongst the first to do a wrap strap watch, but they charge £1550 and my Michael Kors was £199. Click on the link to compare. For my height and size I actually prefer the Kors watch as the Hermes looks too dainty and small.
Husband is doing DIY on the car so I am going to do DIY on myself, namely my nails. Since being pregnant they grow like crazy and I don't usually wear them long but there is always time to try something new and I have realised that not all nail varnishes suit longer nails. So I will shorten them a little and use a grey shade from Models Own.
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend adn if you are in London, I hope you are enjoying The Pride :-)

New fragrance
10 George V avenue by Balenciaga is what I bought at the airport going to Sweden. When I get the energy to go up the stairs I will photograph the purchases from Sweden and from what I bough in Primark today. Might have to wait until tomorrow though feeling a bit lazy :-)

Mrs Hince
Borås
We had a fantastic family time in Borås :-) Husband came for the weekend, he was supposed to be there as long as I was but had to go home early due to work...
The weather was amazing, almost too hot for me as I felt a bit dizzy after a while in the sun.

We had lots of coffees, as you do in Sweden, both in cafes and at home. went for a few walks around town, did a little bit of shopping and went to the zoo and a lake.

After going to a look out point in a forrest, Husband and I drove my mum to the airport and the we went to Gothenburg and to a park where we met up with Karin and her family for a few hours

As you can see I had a very relaxed time. Couldn't sleep very well because I wasn't in my bed. My sister in law calls me the Princess and the pea :-D
also the guy who tried to kill himself by jumoing out of the window was on my mind for the last night. Not that I was concerned about his wellbeing, but his moaning and screaming kept playing in my mind so I kept the tv on for distraction.
Anyway, John Lewis has just delivered my new coffeemaker so I will unpack it now and use it later :-)
xoxo
