and very, very, very bored!! As Husband wanted a day to homself at home watching Formula 1 qualifying and  the Chelsea-Arsenal football match, he sent my mum and I to Stratford for shopping, lunch and coffee. A Proper girls day out :-)

Still no baby.....

Baby hasn't arrived yet, so I am going to meet a friend and her newborn son for a coffee and then come home and finish the baby laundry so that literally everything is ready for the baby's arrival :-)

Butterflies & L...

We have taken Dodger to the vet and they are starting a investigation on his skin condition and took a blood sample. Hopefully they will find what he is allergic to and give him something for it.
Just waiting now to go to the midwife and see what she says as today is my duedate (probably won't say anything at all or see you next week) I only have one wish and that is for the baby to be born before my mum leaves on the 7th of November :-)

We are taking Dodger to the vet this morning and then I am coming home again, to put my face on and at 1.45 I have a midwife appointment. Today is my due date, but since only 5% of babies are born on their due date I don't think baby will be here today :-)

My shoe collect...

I got a bit bored after seeing the girls and thought instead of just sitting around waiting for my mum and Shirin to arrive, why don't I do something useful? Like sort out and photograph all my heels. Turns out, I have 132 pairs of heels and it took a long time to photograph all of them with my pregnant belly being in the way most of the time :-P. Bare faced and ...

Tuesday is the day that the cleaner comes for four hours and takes care of the entire house. So all I have to do is be here and do nothing, which at times can be very boring. As I got ready to leave the house, after the cleaner had left, I realised that I couldn't be bothered to put my face on just to go to the cornershop in Wanstead so here I am bare face and "naked". Just wearing beautybalm by Clarins on my face and Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream on my lips.

Today I have no real plans. Need to buy dinner for tonight and take out cash for the cleaner, so I am thinking of doing something I haven't done in ages. Go to a cafe with a magazine and sit there for a while (until my bum starts to hurt) and then go home again :-)

Baking

Felt a bit housewifey earlier today so I started baking. Made bramble and plum jam cookies and apple and cinnamon spongecake. After Husband made a lovely grilled meats dinner wih salad, I made us some espressos and served the cookies and cake :-) I love autumn when you can stay at home and do little silly things like that :-) We did stay at home almost the whole day, went to Starbucks for a quicky coffee ;-)

St Albans Cathe...

Husband got a bit bored this morning so I suggested driving to St Albans and going to see the cathedral. It took an hour to get there and we stayed for 2 hours. Went for a walk in the park that surrounds the cathedral after a tour inside.

Husband made me...

Woke up feeling really tired again. I don't know if it because I sleep alot or if it's normal at this stage in the pregnancy. Husband took over when I was making breakfast as I'm not feeling to hot and he made perfect pancakes which I filled with bananas and nutella and made myself some coffee.

We have just come back home from dinner at Jamie's Italian in Stratford. It is one of my favourite restaurants and I love going there. Service is fantastic, food is amazing and it always seems like a happy place to work, therefore a happy place to dine ;-)

Snails and skul...

Husband's birth...

It was Husband's 34th birthday on Friday and after his final flying lesson (he is now qualified to fly in clouds and in the dark) we spent the rest of the weekend together. Got my first Forever 21 item today when I was in Stratford with the girls. After our coffee at Grind we went our seperate ways, I went "windowshopping". Husband's birth...

I went looking for Husband's birthday present yesterday (will show you in the next post what I got). As Karen was coming over to my house today I got some cool cupcakes from Cox cookies and cake on Brewer street (have featured them on my blog before, here)

The plan today is to stay at home all day. Karen left me at around 2pm after spending a few hours here with coffee and cupcakes :-) Might be the last time I see her before the baby is born. Today's outfit

Today all the girls, husbands and bumps were invited to lunch at Eve's house. We were the first to arrive at noon and we all left again at around 4.30pm, had a lovely time and the food was soooo good :-)

Animal&Cobalt

Last night, we decided, was the last night we were going out to dinner in Central London. We took the tube there to 2 Veneti on Wigmore Street. since it was Friday evening, people want to get to the bar or get home as quickly as possible and aren't paying attention, so I was quiet nervous as I didn't want to be pushed or get an elbow in my stomach. Luckily I have a very tall and wide shouldered Husband who took care of me :-)

Shopping & stay...

As you can see I am staying at home today. Feeling tired and lazy, am doing laundry though so feeling a little productive :-)
The two pairs of wedges I ordered from Next on Tuesday arrived today, both cost £38 each and they are really comfortable, the black ones more than the snakeskin ones (guess Shirin isn't such a lucky bitch after all ) :-)

Sequins& Faux l...

Yesterday we had dinner at the P's and it was very nice, good food and good company. I think this has been one of our last outings until baby is born. I get too tired and too uncomfortable now, being the size I am now. I drove us home last night and was so tired I could easily have fallen asleep :-s I wouldn't mind if people came to us or if we stayed in our area, but driving to west London or the same distance elsewhere I feel is too much now.
