Valentine Park

After baby massage yesterday, Astrid and I took the bus to Ilford and met up with auntie Shirin for a coffee and a walk in Valentine Park. We had never been there before but will defintely return when the weather is this nice. There is a boating lake and a cafe and lots of flowers and it's about a 10 minute walk from Ilford town centre.

Tate Modern

This morning Seema, Nicky and I took our babies on an adventure. We went on the tube and to Tate Modern. I have lived in London for 12 years and I have never been to the Tate. I of course took tonnes of pictures which I have uploaded here for you to see.

First weekend o...

On Saturday we went to see sister in laws new house, or mansion shall I call it. It is HUGE and gorgeous, had I don't know how many rooms, two walk in wardrobes and all the rooms have access to the garden which has a swimmingpool. I know where we will be hanging this summer as soon as the pool is ready and heated ;-)

My day

In the morning I dropped Astrid of with Shirin in Starbucks as I had a doctors appointment to have a coil fitted (no more babies as I can have it for 10 years) It hurt like a SOB and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone who is sensitive to pain and discomfort and I wouldn't do it if the pill worked for me.
After the doctors we went for a walk around Wanstead in the sunshine. Looked in a vintage boutique and then had a coffee at The Larder on the high street where we bought cupcakes ...

Yesterday, when the kids were here for family dinner, we tried to keep them entertained so we turned the second livingroom into an art studio ;-P Ingrid and Mika has a great time painting with watercolours on paper and canvas. Ill go to Ilford one day next month to buy some frames for these drawings and put them up somewhere in the house as I think they are beautiful :-)
