Yesterday we had a family day, spent a few hours in Stratford, ordered a new coffee/espresso maker as our Nespresso is really old and had started to leak water. Then had brunch at Jamie's Italian, Husband bought a moisturiser at Kiehls and I handed my watch in for a battery change at Links of London. In the afternoon it was time for Husband to have some man-time and he watched Formula 1 :-)

Another good night sleep last night :-) Feeling very spoilt and I am waiting for the bubble to burst and bring me back to reality :-P
Todays plan is to stay at home as we are having friends over for cake :-) I weighed myself this morning and I need to lose another 8 kilos to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Since it's only been almost 4 weeks I'm not too concerned. My deadline is June next year and in a few weeks I'm allowed to start exercising :-)

I got a good nights sleep last night. Astrid only woke up once at 4.30. I changed her, fed her and burped her and then she fell asleep again, not every night is this easy, but all in all she is a very good baby :-)

Here is the shopping post I have been trying to upload for ages :-) The dangers of sitting at home most days is going online and doing the shopping that way. Much more dangerous than going tot he shops as when you are at home you don't even have to hand your card over, most of the sites have my card details saved so I don't even have to type the number in so it doesn't feel like I am spending money :-)

Yesterday I had a girls + babies date in South Woodford. We have anew place we sometimes go to and it's called Lily's Indulgence. They have excellent coffee and cakes and also loads of space for pushchairs and babies :-) The only negative thing I have found is they don't accepts cards under £10, so it's best to always have cash on you.

Laundry day
Today is laundry day. As the cleaner is coming today I have decided that every Tuesday is now also laundry day. I'm trying to give myself some routine to take off the pressure of having to everything ad well as make sure the baby is ok :-) Going to eat breakfast before she stars looking for attention again, she's happy in the vibrating chair at the moment... Going for a wal...
Decided to go for the first walk of the autumn after the midwife left. It was cold and crisp, but just how I like it :-) THen went to Starbucks for the annual Red Cup Gingerbread latte :-) Today I sort of feel back to normal, still a bit sore and fragile but feeling like myself again. My mum goes back to Stockholm tomorrow and my Husband goes back to work. Tuesday will be the first day I am on my own with the baby and I am thinking of taking it easy, wait for the cleaner and then I might go...

Cake & Prosecco
Today, we were treated to a proper sleep in as Astrid slept from 2.30 am til almost 10am with only one wake up to feed at 7am :-)
Husband's family arrived at 2pm and we had cake and prosecco to celebrate The birth of baby Astrid. Took lots of family pictures which I will turn into Christmas presents :-)

Update
We have now been discharged and are at home trying to settle into this new life of ours :-) Giving birth was tough, the most painful and most difficult thing I have ever had to do and am not keen to do again! The contractions started on Monday morning at 5.55am and baby was born at 23.36pm same day. Not going into details, but I think it was a tough, but apparently normal delivery. I am very sore at the moment and popping painkillers every four hours. I'm not going to upload pictures of th...
