On Thursday, Husband and I had a gig-date to see Stereophonics at the O2. We had seats very high up, the nosebleed section, where we could enjoy the music and not get pushed (like the mature, older people we are) ;-)
I took the pictures with my phone, more to keep them as memories on the blog than to show great photographs. We don't have a single album with Stereophonics, bu tI ve heard them on the radio for years and I thought they were fantastic! The singer, Kelly Jones, has an AMAZING voice live, I loved it...

In Concert
Saturday morning we went to the park adn Astrid has tons of fun with her pappa. We went to the playground and then we had breakfast at the Nice Croissant. The camera came with me as usual and as the sun was shining and the park was looking gorgeous, the pictures came out looking perfect!

Family time at the pa...
Last weekend was all about family time. The three of us went to the park on Saturday and when Husband went to see Arsenal at the Emirate Stadium, I started baking Swedish cinnamon buns. Astrid was napping and Seema came over to keep me company.

The buns are ready to go into the oven but look totally yummy even though they are not done yet. The entire hose smelled delicious and reminded me of Christmas
The finished product and yes, they tasted as good as they looked ;-)
On Sunday we went to the gym. I took Astrid to the kids pool to play a little whilst Husband went upstairs for a workout.

Our trip to Brighton started and ended on the beach. The weather on Saturday was lovely and we watched the sunset. The weather on Sunday was a lot less lovely but we still enjoyed our time by the water.
Saturday after our dinner at Pizza Express, we went for an evening stroll. Astrid decided to stop next to two boutiques who sell my favourite things in life, clothes and cake. Lucky for Husband they were both closed :-P
We also stumble across some street art.
We had a great time, would have been fabulous if we got more sleep and next time we will go to Brighton just for the day and sleep at home :-D

Sparkly Bambi
We stayed at the MyHotel boutique hotel on Jubilee street in the middle of Brighton town centre for one night and two days. Spent most of the time on the beach, where Astrid played with the pebbles, I took tons of pictures and Husband chilled :-)
We stayed on the beach for about an hour on Saturday as we were watching the sunset and Astrid refused to leave until we bribed her with pizza. Bribing your children is what any good parent does on a daily basis. Pizza, cookies doesn't matter :-P
On the way home, we stopped by a fish and chips place to buy dinner to all of us and Husbands sister and family as we were passing by before driving back to our house.
