A vision in purple
The day before either of us go away, Husband and I usually go on a date. As Astrid and I had a 6.20 am flight we opted for a afternoon tea date this time. Astrid was at nursery and we had a reservation at One Alwych for a Charlie and the Chocolate factory inspired tea date. It was sweet and short as Husband had to go back to the office, but at least we had an hour or two for grown up talk...
Astrid and I have now been in Stockholm for a week and our flight back is late tonight together with Shirin who has also been here for a week. We won't be home the early hours of Saturday morning as we are driving Shirin to her place before going back to ours.
Tons of pictures to edit and upload when I have the time. This weekend is a family time weekend.

Lucky 82
On Sunday the 15th of June we celebrated Fathers day. The rest of the UK usually do that day as well, but Husband usually has a couple of car races that weekend every year and so this was the first time we were able to celebrate the only man in our household. The man we love so so much!
We started the day with a coffee and cardamon bun at Fabrique in Hoxton
After the coffee, we drove to Westfields and the Olympic Park for a walk.
At 1pm it was time for lunch at Jamies Italian. I had the crab and avocado bruschetta for starter and
Husband had some funny looking, but very tasty, prawns.
I also had the worlds greatest olives and then gnudi for main course.
A fabulous cappuccino for dessert as I am almost totally of sugar and have lost 7kg ;-)
We had a wonderful family day together. Husband also got a little gift, something I ordered a while ago and kept hidden in my walk-in:
A pair of vintage 1960s cabochon cufflinks. I love them so much I wish I wore shirts :-) Husband loved them as well...

Fathers day
Every year, we go to our friends in South London to the Biggin Hill Airshow. We don't have to pay for tickets as our friends live on a small farm very close to the airfield. This year was the first time I was able to take close up photos with my long lens. It was a lot of fun!

Last weekend, Astrid and I drove to Kenwood House, nortwest London, to spend a few hours with Zuzana. The weaher wasn't too kind to us as it rained a couple of times, but that didn't stop us! We walked and walked and got lost! It ended up being a two hour hike in Primark sandals! My old body was hurting for two days afterwards, but we did have fun :-)
Hampstead is such a gorgeous place with lots of things to photograph. On a clear and sunny day you can see the London skyline and there are a couple of cute cafes next to Kenwood House as well and free parking just outside on Hampstead Lane...
