Been a busy day, taking care of some our friends and family who are not feeling too good today. Was a long day and Astrid was really good, had some trapped air in the car but went to bed early as she was soo tired :-) We have a christening tomorrow morning and then no other real plans so might just take it easy in the afternoon...

A walk in the park
I think KAren and I have finally found a place sort of in the middle of our two places to meet up once a month. Where we can get a decent latte and where the kids won't get bored out of their minds. Alexandra Palace is about 25 minutes drive from us and 35 minutes from Karen . In the summer we can have picnics and in the winter we will sit indoors and have a latte each and gossip about everything and everyone ;-) It's only taken 11 years of each other to find a place we can both get to easily...

Shirin, Astrid and I decided to spend a few hours in East London (which is the closest, most interesting area to where we live),
Had a scones and tea at Canteen in Spitalfield market
Shirin wanted to find Fashion Street and since she had only been there once we tried Google Maos, which decided to take us to Fashion Street, Budapest!!!
East London is amongst other things, famous for its Street Art and one of the reasons I wanted to go there :-)
Time for a snack and a coffee, we found Benet cafe and ice cream parlour on Bethnal Green road
Had a fabulous day and we were lucky the weather was so nice...
I owuld recommend getting of the usual tourist trail when in London to visit these areas as they ar far more interesting than say Oxford Street etc

Two outfits
On the same level as my Husband but it is a different kind of love. I love my daughter and my husband the same, exactly the same, but totally differently. I feel very protective towards my babygirl and would do anything for her to be safe, happy and satisfied. That's why I don't mind when she changes her eating pattern and makes me get up early in the morning ;-) as long as she is content. Astrid is also getting more and more fun. Yesterday evening, as we were hanging in the livingroom, I started tickling her and she was laughing out loud and when she heard and saw me laugh she laughed even more. She isn't into toys or music or anything childlike. She starts to cry when she hears highpitched music and look at toys like they are aliens. What she does like is to be spoken to and to be given attention. Tickling and flying is the best. There, I did it, I declared my love for my daughter or as close to it as I will ever get to declaring my love ;-) Might be boring for some of you, but since this is a lifestyle blog (not a fashion blog) I like to write about my life and she is a huge part of it now and for a long time to come :-)
