For church and the ceremony Astrid will be wearing this vintage christening gown borrow from our niece and nephews grandparents. Every child that has been christened in it has his or her name embroidered on it. The first child was in 1964 :-)

As the gown is so old and precious I don't want be the one who ruins it, which gave me an excuse to go buy Astrid a new dress :-) She will be wearing this Peter Pan collar prom dress to the reception with the frilly socks, all from Next, cute huh?

So looking forward to this weekend. My parents and my brother and his family are all coming over for the christening. Last time everyone was here was when we got married, 9 years ago today ;-)
