Christening
It all went really well on Sunday. The church was gorgeous but boiling hot, we were all dressed up and the boys were wearing suits so of course were overheating! Astrid coped really well. Her dress is a two layered gown and she was also really hot but I changed her into a cooler more realxed dress after the ceremony. We had the reception in the great hall in the church were we served cupcakes and prosecco as well as coffee. It didn't last very long but we all had a sweet, lovely time :-)
After everyone had left, we (Husband, Astrid, dad, brother, niece, sister in law and I ) went to Pizza Express on Bkaer Street for dinner and then home to rest. It was a long and exhausting day but so worth it to have my whole family here adn to see most of our friends all together. Hasn't happened since we got married and that's 9 years ago.
