I came a close second in our family dessert competition at mother in laws today. I felt even more inspired to bake a bit more after I put A to bed.

This is what my comoetition contribution looked lije. A classic Swedish kladdkaka, direct translation=gooey cake.

I made two types of cookies but only photographed one of them. These are called Hallongrottor, which means raspberry caves, except I didn't have raspberry jam at home so I used plum instead...

I went back to Harrods and the Dior exhibition. I promise that this is the last time I talk about it! It's just so pretty and I want everyone to see it so I brought Astrid, the au pair and Shirin and took a few more pictures :-D

When we got off the bus from Oxford Street the first thing we saw was the windows at Harvey Nichols, very street art.

I bought new shoes yesterday ;-) It was definitely worth getting stuck in traffic for! :-D

I bought them at a shop in Westfield's called Ollie&Nic and they are £59.99 and quiet comfortable. Going to wear them tomorrow ;-)

Just came home from my godson Jayden birthday party, pictures to come at another time. We had to leave early as Astrid is still ill and the party started at her nap time so she was very cranky and so I got quiet stressed :-s Now that we are at home again, we are both better ;-)

After our visit to Alexandra Palace and lunch earlier today, I took the car to Westfield's to do some shopping. Big mistake, huge! I got stuck in traffic going into the shopping centre and even worse traffic jam leaving it!

Can you see all the cars behind me? Took me an 30 minutes to leave...

Got everything I was looking for though ;-) We will look at my shopping some other time ;-)

I did also go to Wait rose to buy stuff for tonights dinner that Husband is cooking AND ingredients for crumble apple pie :-D I'm not going to pretend that we celebrate Easter is this household but we do welcome any bank holiday that gives Husband a few hours extra at home (even though he is working on the laptop as I write this!) :-D

I think I have found a new favourite lipstick and it's by Bourjois. It's number 07 and it's called Fuchsia Graffiti.

I love the red lip look but it doesn't suit me at all so I stick to the next best thing, pink. Which also happens to be my favourite colour ;-)
