I've been wanting to show you the shopping I did when I was in Stockholm last month, but trying to email 14-15 pictures from my phone to myself apparently isn't the smartest or the fastest way to do it. I accidentally found a way to transfer the pictures from the phone to my Picasa when I changered my phone with the cable. I'm not the most internet/IT clever girl here, but I get by :-P
Anyway, here are the much talked about photographs (unfocused and all)
I bought everything form Beyond Retro except for the shoes...

And these, by Gucci, I bought at the Salvation Army's charity shop called Myrorna (The ants in Swedish) cost me £25 which I thought was a very good find :-)
When I am in /Stockholm, I very rarely go shopping in the regular high street stores. I like to go to all the Beyond Retros as I always find at least 5 dresses that fit me perfectly. Next time, when I stay a bit longer, I will go to as many Myrorna as I can find as I love the idea of just walking around, searching for things and maybe finding something that I might love. Not everyones cup of tea, but definitely mine.

Today was family day, at least the first half of it, before Husband had to go back to work and we had a breakfast date in South London. After brekfast we went to our friends house to see the animals and have a cup of tea :-D

I dont show alot of skin on the blog or in real life either, I don't feel comfortable wearing shorts or short skirts and dresses. Especially not in the summer, I'll wear them in the winter when I can hide my imperfections (read: dimply ass) under a pair of opaque tights ;-) 
However, since starting this healthier eating and the Tracy Anderson work out, I have started to feel tons better about myself. I can feel the work out changing my flab into fab :-) I htought I would show you before after and after pictures of me in a bikini!!! Close your eyes now as it might scar you for life :-P
This is me in 2008 and it's what I look like with out any exercising or dieting (not the most flattering bikini or pose)
Croatia 2009 after I went to the gym four times a week, at a lot better and lost 10 kilos in weight 
 
And finally, this is what I looked liked last year in Croatia after giving birth to Astrid 8 months earlier
 As you can clearly see, I have some work to do :-P I have never been a small or skinny girl but I am determined to get back to where I was before I had Astrid. I have now started to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with very little snacking inbetween. If I do snack its on fruit, vegetable or nuts and I drink more tea than before. I do eat junk as well, but I don't go out to the shops to buy it. I have dessert if we are having dinner out, but I might not have a starter. It worked last time so I hope it will work again :-D

I didn't celebrate Midsummer properly, the Swedish way, as I had a date with Husband and we haven't celebrated Midsummer since 2005. But we had a birthday party in the afternoon last Saturday and this is what I looked like

Husband and I had a date night last Friday. We went to The Gay Hussar in Soho and then we went for a nightly walk and when we got home we lit the candles in the garden and had a drink. All in all, it as a perfect date :-) Oh, and this is what I wore ;-)

I'm giving Husband a much needed sleep in and I thought I should tell you about my work out
. I started the Tracy Anderson Mat Workout a week ago. I have been doing it 5 days out of seven and I feel it working already. My butt is rounder and a bit firmer, my arms are a bit tighter and my breathing is getting better. There are a few moves I can't do because of my hip (I have been doing them anyway and I am now paying for it) and others I cant do because I'm not coordinated enough, I find it hard, but I love how it makes me feel afterwards and the fact that I can do it from home when Astrid is asleep, either napping or for the night, and it doesn't feel like it's an hour long. It takes an hour including warm up and cool down. I never liked going to classes at the gym, I'm not a very social person and I don't like being told what to do or being singled out (which has happened at the few classes I've taken) so this at home work out is perfect for me and when I bought it, it was £5 on Amazon. 
I have also changed my diet. I now try to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with very little snacking in between. If I do snack its on nuts, fruit or vegetables. I also drink alot more tea than before. For example, I had half a cucumber, and oramge and a cup of green tea with honey last night after the work out. I have to also admit that I do go to bed hungry but I am getting used to that ;-)

Last Saturday, after our playdate at Maggie and Rose, we were invited to our nieces birthday and I as usual took a few pictures :-)
Before we massacred the fabulous cake, we gathered around the dinner table for a Indian take away feast! Astrid had rice and some of the pasanda sauce, most of the rice ended up on the floor :-P 
The birthday girl is also my goddaughter, one of three, and I am taking her to Kensington Palace in the next few weeks to see the new Royal Fashion exhibition. I am very excited!!

On Saturday we had a playdate with The P's at Maggie & Rose in Chiswick. Astrid slept trough most of it but managed to wake up to play in the ball pit and with the bubbles :-)
It was abusy but very good day. We had a birthday party in the afternoon, but that is a whole different post for another day :-)

A Royal Visit

Isn't really my thing. I have exercised for a total if two years in my entire, almost 36 year old life (if you add all the sessions together it is probably less). I hated PE in school, didn't like the way my bum bounced. 
When I decided I wanted a child, I lost 10kg in weight by going to the gym 4 times a week and changing my food intake. All so I could get pregnant as soon as possible.
After my pregnancy I ended up with tons of problems with my body, the biggest concern I have is that it is too weak.
So I have made a deal with Husband. If I exercise 3 tines a week until my birthday I will receive a really good birthday present. Its the carrot i need :-) I have power walked and used this DVD
To help with the toning up, getting stronger and maybe (read hopefully) lose a bit of weight. I'm also trying really hard not too eat any junk. Wish me luck!!
